Jenkins, EPV SOLAR’s VP of Marketing and Business Development, will be presenting at the Thin-Film Solar Summit to be held in San Francisco, December 2nd and 3rd. Mr. Jenkins joins a prestigious group of top thin-film executives scheduled to present at the event. These speakers represent every area of the rapidly growing thin-film industry—marketing, product development, business development, sales, and operations—and will be discussing their areas of expertise and sharing their insights on the industry’s current technological, market, and manufacturing issues.
During his two-year tenure with EPV SOLAR, Mr. Jenkins has been an important member of the management team that has transitioned the Company to a leading position in thin-film PV manufacture and commercialization. As VP of Marketing and Business Development, Mr. Jenkins has made significant contributions to EPV SOLAR’s leading position in a market that is experiencing an annual growth rate of 100 percent.
Mr. Jenkins will be presenting on the second day of the summit and will address thin-film manufacturing challenges. His presentation, “Driving Thin-Film PV to Scale in Production and Integration,” will reference both EPV SOLAR’s successful scaling of production to meet increasing global demand for thin-film modules and the Company’s proven ability to effectively and efficiently integrate technological developments into its proprietary manufacturing process.
Mr. Jenkins brings to the summit 20 years of diverse experience in the semiconductor industry and senior and executive experience in Marketing, Sales, Engineering Management, and Operations. Since earning his BS in electrical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and his MS in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, Mr. Jenkins has been involved in the development and introduction of advanced semiconductor products to global markets. His expertise and experience will contribute to the Summit’s focus on the near- and long-term future of the thin-film market and the components of successful product development, manufacture, and marketing.
